Why should I buy Eibach Springs vs Brand X? What are the major differences between Eibach Springs and brand X?

Manufacturing: All Eibach springs are created from the highest quality alloy wire, made specifically for Eibach to meet their exacting specifications. This exclusive “Eibach” wire is then cold wound on precision CNC equipment, heat tempered, end ground (depending on application), shot peened and pre-set for fatigue resistance, tested by their stringent QA department (required for QS9000), then phosphate treated and epoxy powder-coated for corrosion resistance. Only then are they imprinted with the Eibach name—your assurance for the best quality and the best performance.

Brand-X may also produce a quality "manufactured" coil spring, however, in the US, they do not have an R & D and engineering team, Eibach Springs does! This is a major difference when purchasing springs for a US spec Domestic, European or Asian car, these vehicles have much different gross vehicle weight's than European models. This is extremely important when designing "progressive rate" springs, as the transition point (the point in the spring travel where the spring rate increases), with varying vehicle loads (Euro vs. US) change this vital characteristic.
